THE VIRTUAL FRONTLINE WALK
Here's another good 50th Staff Challenge by Inspiration Customer Service & Sales guru (the-voice-of-AP) - Zoe Caines.
Zoe and her partner Ian completed the OPERATION BLETCHLEY challenge back in July raising money for ABF The Soldiers' Charity.
They are both now signed up to do the VIRTUAL FRONTLINE WALK between October 1st and 11th November - for the same charity.
The object of the VIRTUAL FRONTLINE WALK is to walk a total of 100km in 42 days (and log it on Strava) in memory of those who fought in World War I or II and in doing so, raise money via their Donation Page.
The organisers suggest doing some research and planning routes to take in local war memorials, significant historic sites (such as, here in Cornwall, D-Day landing embarkation points, gun emplacements or anti-aircraft remains etc etc) to get some appreciation of what people did locally in those wars.
YOU CAN FOLLOW ZOE & IAN's PROGRESS AND HELP THEM MEET THEIR TARGET ON THEIR FUND-RAISING PAGE HERE:
