GC6 - Solenoid Shut-Off Valve for Over-the-Shoulder Counterlungs

The GC6 has been developed for use with AP Inspiration rebreathers (EVO, EVP and XPD) with Over-the-Shoulder Counterlungs (OTSCL).

The Solenoid Shut-Off Valve allows divers to shut off the supply of oxygen to the solenoid without cutting the supply of oxygen to the manual inflator or the oxygen contents gauge.

If the solenoid free-flows during a dive the supply of oxygen to the solenoid can be shut off and the diver can still add gas manually to the loop with the oxygen manual inflator on the exhale counterlung.

The diver can also continue to monitor the pressure in the oxygen cylinder in the normal way.

The GC6 consists of 4 components:

1. a medium pressure hose from the solenoid to the GC3
2. a GC3 Shut-Off Valve with clip
3. a Shut-Off Manifold
4. a medium pressure supply hose

There are 4 hose size configurations depending on the CCR model and counterlung size.
