AP3A/INT - Direct Feed Tap and 31"Hose

The AP52 direct feed tap was originally designed for use with early AP BCD inflators (31" hose).

It is also ideal as a stand-alone inflator tap for SMB or Lift Bag inflation.

Available with or without a 31" medium pressure hose. Please specify:

The AP52/INT direct feed tap stem is now an International Spec fitting designed to be a universal fit in that they will fit a wide range of hose makes.

The hose fitting AP50A/INT is also a universal fit snap connector.

Designed originally for connection to the inflator stems of AP inflator valves, it underwent minor modification in September 2021 to comply with EU Standards designed to ensure male connection stems on the market are manufactured within certain tolerances allowing safe cross connectivity between different brand hoses and inflator stems.

Note: The redesigned parts - AP snap connectors, inflator stems and the products with these parts in them - are identifiable by the ".../INT" suffix in the SKU codes. For example: AP50/24/INT is a 24" AP inflator hose with the new AP50A/INT snap connector.

The redesigned snap connectors and inflator stems have been tested to meet the required flow rates both with the previous (original) AP Diving connections and also a wide range of other brand QR connectors & stems currently on the market (including some legacy fittings).

The international AP snap connector is visually identifiable by the knurled end (shown above).

Reusable Part for simple Hose Shortening

The AP50A/INT is reusable. It can be easily removed and re-fitted so that the hose length can be shortened to suit or repaired if damaged.
