EASIFIL - SMBCI Inflation Adaptor

AP35V - Low Profile EASIFIL Inflator Hose Adaptor for AP SMBCIs

For use with all AP SMBCIs (Surface Marker Buoys with inflation) as an alternative method of inflation to the mini-cylinder.

• Travel option: leave the cylinder at home when travelling abroad
• If you are doing the kind of dive where the gas-conservation & ease-of-use advantages of mini-cylinder inflation are not as important
• As a replacement for the mini-cylinder (if it is beyond service/repair)
• Retro-fits all existing AP SMBCIs

EASIFIL inflation is activated by physically attaching and holding a low-pressure inflation hose (AP or any other make) onto the stem. Inflation will only occur as long as the hose is held in place by the diver, as shown above.

Note: for safety, the EASIFIL stem is designed without a locking groove. This disables the snap-connection function of the hose and prevents it from becoming attached to the SMB at any point during inflation.

Low Profile & Lighter Design

The new and improved EASIFIL is a lower profile and much lighter alternative to the previous chromed EASIFIL adaptor, which fitted into the standard DIN post.  The weight of both the brass-inserted DIN post and the chrome adaptor is eliminated. 

The new AP35V EASIFIL comes as an assembly, which includes:

• Low profile elbow (AP35S) - which replaces the old DIN post
• EASIFIL stem (APV35P)
• Locking ring (AP35D)
• Large base O-ring
